On 10 June 2025, GetCare Foundation participated in the Ghana Diaspora Investment Forum (GDIF 2025) held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.
The forum served as a strategic pre-session to the Africa Impact Summit, bringing together diaspora community representatives, government officials, development partners, impact investors, and local entrepreneurs to explore pathways for mobilizing diaspora capital to support sustainable development in Ghana and across Africa.
Participation in the forum provided an important opportunity for GetCare Foundation to engage with potential partners and stakeholders interested in agriculture-led impact investments and rural development initiatives.
During the engagements, the Foundation shared insights into its ongoing work supporting rural communities and highlighted opportunities for collaboration under its flagship Farming Against Hunger and Poverty (FAHAP) program. FAHAP focuses on strengthening smallholder farmer productivity, improving access to agricultural inputs, and connecting farmers to reliable markets to enhance income and food security.
The event also created space for dialogue with several institutions working to advance impact investing and inclusive development, including GIZ, Fidelity Bank Ghana, Impact Investing Ghana, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and Opportunity International Canada, among others.
GetCare Foundation was inspired by the strong commitment demonstrated by the diaspora community, development partners, and private sector actors working toward a shared vision of inclusive and sustainable economic growth in Ghana.
The Foundation extends its appreciation to the organizers of the Africa Impact Summit for convening such a meaningful platform that encourages collaboration, knowledge exchange, and new partnerships aimed at accelerating sustainable development.
GetCare Foundation continues to explore partnerships that strengthen rural livelihoods, expand agricultural opportunities, and promote sustainable development across Ghana.
