GetCare Foundation has opened a Call for Expressions of Interest for qualified professionals interested in contributing their expertise to the Foundation's programmes, research, partnerships and development initiatives as Associates or Advisors.
The initiative provides a flexible pathway for professionals, researchers, academics, consultants and development practitioners to contribute specialist knowledge and experience while maintaining their existing professional, academic or employment commitments.
Associates may contribute to programme and project development, research, proposal preparation, technical assignments, occasional meetings, partnership activities and project implementation where relevant. Advisors will primarily provide periodic technical, scientific, strategic, policy or sector-specific guidance.
Bringing Expertise and Ideas Together
GetCare is particularly interested in professionals working across sustainable agriculture and food systems, agroforestry and landscape restoration, biodiversity and conservation, climate change and natural resource management, GIS and spatial analysis, agricultural economics, market systems, monitoring and evaluation, research, data analysis, nutrition and food security, project management, grant development, communications, finance and related disciplines.
The initiative also creates an avenue for Associates and Advisors to identify funding opportunities or bring forward promising project and research ideas for collaborative development with GetCare Foundation.
Where such initiatives successfully secure funding, individuals who have made substantive contributions may be considered for appropriate funded roles, subject to project requirements, approved budgets, donor conditions and GetCare Foundation's contracting procedures.
A Flexible Professional Engagement
The Associates & Advisors initiative is designed as a flexible professional association rather than salaried employment. There is no fixed routine workload or guaranteed remuneration. Where funded projects or specific assignments become available, selected Associates and Advisors may be separately contracted and remunerated for relevant roles.

Applications for the 2026 Call for Expressions of Interest – GetCare Foundation Associates/Advisors are open until 20 September 2026.
Interested professionals should submit a current CV, a brief statement of interest of no more than one page, relevant programme, research, partnership or grant-development interests, and current contact details.
