Two Ways To Engage

Associates

Associates are professionals who may contribute to programme and project development, research, proposal preparation, technical assignments, occasional meetings, partnership activities and, where appropriate, project implementation.

Advisors

Advisors are experienced or senior professionals who provide periodic technical, scientific, strategic, policy or sector-specific guidance. They may also contribute to programme design, research, partnerships and funding proposals.

How You Can Contribute

Engagement is intended to be practical and flexible. Depending on your expertise and availability, you may:

  • participate in occasional technical or strategic meetings
  • contribute specialist knowledge to programme concepts and technical documents
  • support research and programme design
  • identify funding opportunities; develop or review grant proposals; originate project or research ideas
  • support partnership and stakeholder engagement
  • participate in funded assignments where subsequently selected and contracted.

Associates and Advisors may support programme development, research, technical work, partnerships, grant development and selected institutional activities according to their expertise and availability.

Bring an Idea or Funding Opportunity

We particularly welcome professionals who identify promising funding opportunities or have strong project, research or programme ideas that align with GetCare Foundation's areas of work.

Selected Associates and Advisors may work with GetCare Foundation to develop these opportunities. Depending on the opportunity, the Foundation may contribute institutional positioning, programme information, field context, partnership support, budgeting and proposal-development guidance.

Where funding is successfully secured, an Associate or Advisor who has made a substantive contribution may be considered for an appropriate funded role, such as Project Lead, Technical Lead, Research Lead, Coordinator, Specialist or Consultant, subject to the approved project design and budget, donor requirements, suitability, availability and GetCare Foundation's contracting procedures.

A Flexible Professional Engagement

The Associates & Advisors initiative is designed for professionals who want to contribute meaningfully without taking on continuous employee-style responsibilities.

Appointment as an Associate or Advisor does not constitute salaried employment.

Where funded projects or specific assignments become available, selected Associates and Advisors may be engaged separately under appropriate contractual and remuneration arrangements.
