We implement a range of programs from food security initiatives to nature-based ecological restoration programs. Some of our current programs include;
1. FAHAP (Farming Against Hunger and Poverty) – supporting smallholder farmers with inputs, training, and market linkages.
2. RECLAIM Project – restoring degraded mining lands through agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and livelihood transition for affected communities.
3. Community capacity building and livelihood empowerment initiatives.
We work with: Traditional authorities and local communities; Government agencies; Research institutions and universities; Civil society organizations; International development partners; and The private sector.

Additional FAQs on Biodiversity, Natural Resource Management, and Forest Protection
GetCare Foundation integrates biodiversity restoration into all major programs, especially through agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and habitat recovery. Our interventions increase tree cover, regenerate soils, rehabilitate degraded ecosystems, and restore habitats that support pollinators, wildlife, and native plant species.
We apply a combination of community-based natural resource management (CBNRM), climate-smart land-use planning, soil regeneration practices, controlled reforestation, and sustainable water management. We also train, educate, advocate, and lead responsible land management and environmental practices. These approaches empower communities to restore, manage, and protect their natural assets long-term while living responsible, conscious lifestyle.
Through large-scale restoration project and community forestry initiatives, we help restore degraded landscapes using agroforestry species, native trees, and mixed-crop models. We also collaborate with the Forestry Commission, traditional authorities, and local communities to rehabilitate degraded forest areas, protect rainforest, reduce deforestation drivers, and promote sustainable land stewardship.
Yes. Our programs contribute to carbon sequestration, improved soil carbon, re-greening of degraded lands, and the adoption of climate-resilient farming systems. By restoring landscapes and promoting sustainable livelihoods, we help communities adapt to climate risks while reducing environmental degradation and emissions.
